Well not exactly an aquarium project but here's what I did with a bunch of coral skeletons I've aquired from various places. Spray adhesive to the frame then sprinkled with sand. Several coats of clear laquer sprayed on and let dry. Siliconed bleached skeletons around frame and sprayed with several coats of clearcoat.
