Beckett Injector question

I'm playing around with a couple of injectors and need a little info on a Beckett 1408. What is the smallest pump I can use and still get decent performance out of the injector. Any Mag drives usable? I'm looking for a small submersible pump.

At one point I was considering modding a ETSS skimmer with a beckett and Cali Reef told me the minimum gph that you need to run a beckett head to get right amount of bubbles to be effective was approx. 600gph.
It wouldn't work with what I was going to try as the body of the ETSS was too small to accommodate that kind of flow.
I do know that all of the beckett skimmers need to use a pressure rated pump but not sure if that has to do with the injector itself.

yep. you need a pressure rated pump, which knocks out most, if not all, of the submersables.

So it looks like I'll be using the Kent. I can't see using a pump larger than my return pump for a skimmer in a softie tank.
