Cold Cathode Moon Lights

I was looking for a way to get some moon lights on my tank without having to mount leds (I have a clamp on MH fixture) gwyze told me about these cathodes lights. So I did a lil searching and found out that I can mount these cathode lights that Radio Shack sells for $19.99 ( you can possible get them cheaper via the internet) which is used for computer towers. These lights are pretty darn bright and you can alway decrease the output on them if its too bright for your taste. So I picked up a set which includes 2 12" lights and an off/on switch. Found an old AC adapter and hooked this bad boy up and it worked perfectly! I know :dead: without pics, but my camera is m.i.a! but as soon as I find it, I'll post some pics up

i've had cold cathodes running on my nano for 4+ years now. they come in different colors and can be dimmed. there are some great threads about it on nano-reef.com
