I've never installed one before but I can recommend that you resist the urge to overtighten any connectors, you can always tighten them again later

I just stuffed mine under the sink, then bought 40ft, of of the tubing to fill a rubbermaid with a float-valve that sits by my tank.

Second time I put it in the washer room between the washing machine, and dryer. There was an easy faucet to connect to, I got a $3 splitter on the washer connection, and an existing drain...

Made it very easy.

I put it in my laundry room with a y-junction attachment at the cold tap. Then I hung it on the wall next to the machine. (True Value in Eastchester knows how to advise on this). Thats it.

I now even use it for drinking water from one of those 5 gallon light blue containers. Best thing for the aquarium!!!

Does the water coming out of the filter supposed to trickle? or a continuous stream? The output on my filter is basically a slow trickle, does that mean I have low water pressure coming into the unit?

If your waste water has a continuous stream than your pressure is good. On some RODI units the RODI part of the system trickles but you will have a steady flow of waste water.
