I'm trying to remove a cracked aquarium bottom attached with silicone sealant. Are single edged razor blades the best way to go, or is there something else that could make the job easier?
Used the box-cutter / single edged razor blade to strip most of the silicone off and then (carefully) broke the glass a little more w/ a hammer to be able to take out the bottom (carefully) in pieces. Thanks ZANYmaster for the response.
Sounds about right, just try to get off as much silicon from the regluing area as possible and before you lay a bead down go over the area with alcohol.
