Ok I am looking to incorperate a close loop currently on my cube tank. With the way my rock design is set the Vortech just isn't cutting it. I wanted to do a over the top close loop since the tank is already filled but wanted to know how to make it work more than enough that i could even get away without inside powerheads.

My idea was to run it blowing at the four corners of the tank. maybe even looking for a method simalar to the Ocean motion to get diffrent directions

Any imput would be appreciated

Ritch,
I do use a OM 4-Way but didn't think that you wanted to purchase additional equipment based on your post.
For a couple of years, I just had the return flow and the OM4-way with a Reeflo Dart. Later on I added a pair of Revs to make the flow a little more random then I eventually threw on two MP40Ws on the back panel and the SPS like it even better. There's a turnover rate of about 9000 gph on a 120g tank.

I currently have to Vortech at full blast but it isn't helping me out all that much thats why i guessed to go with a close loop would fix this problem. I was planing on going with seaswirls and try to gain better result. what do you think?

I will give you my 2 cents. Please dont make the same mistake I made....Put in the closed loop or the calfo manifold. It took me months to try and get flow to all the areas in my tank with the use of 7 vortechs, 1 tunze, and 4 sea swirls and I still could use more. Please check out this build by David saxby.....yes its a money no object tank but...his closed loop is wild...enjoy http://www.theaquariumsolution.com/files/Technical review of David Saxbys system2.pdf
