In pursuit of a tank to fit my specific needs I think a 12 x 12 x 24 rimless tank would be perfect.

Front & Back panels = 12 x 23.75
2 Side panels = 11.5 x 23.75
Bottom panel = 12 x 12

I was thinking about doing the plumbing inside (bottom) of the tank to minimize outside space but don't want to compromise the integrity of the tank.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Also, I have a bunch of plastic speed squares with the corners cut off. Very useful for keeping things aligned when you glue it up.

Let me know if you want to borrow them.

That would be great Brett, I will let you know when the time comes to order the glass sheets. Thank you.

Is the narrowness of the tank going to limit arm movement if you drop something down in there?

Interesting shape, what do you plan to keep in it?

Do post pic of the build :)

Whatever falls in there will be lost forever :tongue1:. I will just use one of those claw-thingies on a pole  In a small place in the city I needed to go vertical.

I really miss keeping and breeding seahorses so I might go back to that or maybe try my hand at some cuttlefish.

Since I never posted any pics of my old tank, I will probably do a thread on here about the build.

1/4" split on the two edges are 1/8" gaps, seems a little excessive to me. I would think not more than 1/32" is more appropriate.

You can have the glass shop drill the hole(s) for you before glueing. 12x12 and 24" tall will be a PIA to work with and hard to get water circulated in the bottom of the tank.
