First chamber : return from overflow, followed by a sock, with a skimmed in the same chamber
Bubble barrier
Second chamber : carbon ammonia phosphate in socks separated by egg crate
Third area: Open area if I need it for something later on
Bubble barrier with a home made flow through chiller
Fourth: heater with return pump
Fifth: refrium with separate return from tank and overflow to fourth
Return pump is.external mag ten ... or something like that

This is for my 75 gal upgrade from my 55
What do you guys think?
Bioballs a good idea? I have them and already cycles and still running in my 55.
The tank I'm using is a 45 gallon the fits under the tank.
I drew the diagram on a scrap paper quickly cause I'm at work right now, so excuse the quality.

i woulg get rid of the extra space you have for future expansion and increase your fuge area, and put a ball valve to control flow to fuge area. if you have a drop in chiller you could put it in the first chamber.

What I was thinking to use the extra space for was a calcium reactor uv light stuff like that the reason the chiller isn't in the front is, its home made. It's not perfect. I want to keep it away from any splashing

I like the increased fuge idea. If you need to rehouse a fish then you an put it in there and it has something to calm it.
A bare section will increase stress in the quarantined fish.

Without labeling any dimensions on your drawing, it doesn't appear you're going to have nearly enough room to put all those sections in that sump. If the display is only 48" above it, what size are you planning to make the sump? It's very easy to write down all those labels without dimensions, but executing it is a very different (if not impossible) project.

Best of luck with it

You can't keep uv lights in water, they run of electricity. water and electricity does not mix. I keep fish in my fuge. Here is a fuge made from a 55 gallon tank, left side is the fuge area, center is for your pump, and right side is for your skimmer. I used google sketch up, I played with it a couple of times and wella.

The tank I got they barely fits underneath is four inches short on each side and is about a foot tall. The diagram was done while I was bored at work didn't have the ability to do measurements

It wouldn't be directly in the water but hanging on the side in the case of a leak
