here' s a elos style stand I build for
afernandez, came out pretty nice

nice looking stand... but Elos doesn't have a overhang and is flat all round. Yours has character! Looks better 2!

What kind of plywood do you guys use? color/size?

Nice job! What did you use to paint it black? Anything special? I used stain and im still getting slight flaking on the bottom of my stand

I used 3/4" unfinished maple, they come in 8'x4' planks. Home depot has them for $35.97. I get them from a supplier in bklyn that delivers so my cost is $55.00 ea.

I just got Home from work lol to see my stand online lol .. Stand is super nice!! Well build...b/c of landlord Being a (insert here) I cood not have the tank in a second floor house b/c of "floor reasons" any ways I sold the stand to my welthy cuz who has nothing else to do with his money and will also buy the tank made from miracles... It's sucks after I took time to plan it out. But I will tell him to make an account and post his build threat . Thanks John will be in contact with you soon lol

Thanks, you did an awesome job on that stand, I like your workshop! I need a bigger one...soon. I tried to change up the stand a little from the standard elos style...which I think is butt ulgy IMO [ just not my style ]

any other pictures of your woodworking? would like to see more of your work

I believe Manhattan Aquariums has this tank and stand on their floor. Just inside the door to the right.
