sump question.

so here is a rough sketch of my sump, with what i would like to do. at the moment there isnt much going on in that middle section, and i would like to make more space for the skimmer cause its kinda tight in that last chaimber. any reason why i shouldnt remove that baffle?

blue is return. black is overflow. and red is from the fuge.

Remove it, you are not using it as a fuge, no need for it, micro bubbles will dissipate better without the baffle their

in the top pic,,u want the return in the middle,,,the side with ur baffles is ur sump and fuge on the other side

I agree. Since you aren't having a fuge in the sump, you don't the first/second section baffle. Is the first/second section gonna be your skimmer section only?

well general equipment. like reactor and what not. its just that replacing filter sock is getting annoying cause its so tight with the skimmer.
