building a skimmer for my 450

OK guys I'm going nuts with my hand, I've had a lot of time on my handsI just ordered a 10" diameterX 20" tall clear acrylic tube and a 10"X 4" cup
to build my skimmer for the 450.

I have a ton of confidence in my ASM G4
but I'm not happy unless I'm building something
as soon as I get it I'll post some pictures

gonna be a needle wheel fed, recirulating skimmer
very similar to the Euro/ ASM just much wider
overall hieght will be about 28"

sounds like a powerful skimmer! are you building it with a diffuser plateand what types of pumps are you using?

planning on a sedra 9000 ( I already have) feeding it with a GENX 1000

gonna get over to Cali's and check out his BK and see what other things I'm going to do
