Looking for Crushed oyster shells in brooklyn

Hey guys im going to attempt DIY live rock
having trouble locating crushed oyster shells in the Brooklyn area....found everything else.
online the shipping is more than the product which kills me so i would rather try and find some at a store....so if anyone knows of where i could score some in bulk @ 20lbs bag or so i would appreciate it thanks

i tried a few local places but no one has any....do you know of a specific place that would have them?

You have to go to a farm supplier... It's used as chicken feed...

cant seem to locate any in the brooklyn area......I tried looking but apparently there arnt many chicken operations in Brooklyn...i was hoping someone local has made some DIY rock and would know of a source for the crushed oysters.....otherwise im going to have to bite the bullet and pay $28 for shipping on a $20 bag of crushed oysters.....not that its a huge amount of $ but it kinda sucks

Yeah I know, but I really wanna use the oyster shells both for the look and the ph buffeting properties and the calcium that it contains

Just a heads up tried doing the DIY rocks and it takes forever to cure like months. Make it as poures as Possible. Wash out the oyster shells really well be4 attempting. And just google farming supplies in my area and you should find wear to get it.
