Ecotech Radions Pro's

Ok so for my tank i was thinking about getting the Ecotech Radions. I have a mixed reef now but getting more into SPS. Are they worth the money and how is your growth and colors.?

IMO. 100% Yes. I've had MH and PC in the past and have not only enjoyed the vast color spectrum and the ramping/surnise/sunset features. There will be plenty of T5 guys out there that hate on LEDs, but it seems everyone is partial to what they have. Each lighting option has its pros and cons, but if you're considering LEDs and we're looking for an opinion and review, then I'll say this. IMO and my experiences, the customer service I've recieved on numerous occasions from Ecotech Marine has been better than any company that I've ever dealt with in my life and far exceeded my expectations each and every time. The product quality is solid and built to last. The product is fully upgradable to the latest and greatest, each time the new technology comes out. The software is really simple to use and customize. Even the novelty things like the disco colors or the thunderstorm effect can be fun to show guests. You may find people to try and pick apart the light for whatever reason they can try and find, but bottom line is, it's a solid, quality light that has a ton of state of the art features and is made and backed by a fantastic company that stands behind their product and always goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is fully satisfied in every way. Again, this is just my 2?, based solely on my experiences. I absolutely LOVE my Radion Pros. Wouldn't recommend anything else.

I have 2 radions and 2 250 w mh if I could id run only mh no Doubt but then I'd need a chiller

Bio14guy, I'm curious why radion LED's are your first choice when considering SPS corals. Could you please explain why? Thanks

Hi Guys, I also am running 3 Gen3 pro radions on my tank. It has only been a short time but I am loving these lights so far. What sold me was the UV control and color setups. I have spent a bunch on $ in the past buying bulbs trying to find the right color sequence and then only changing them months later. With these lights all the color sequences are already preset and I don't have to worry about changing the bulbs. I have added SPS and seen nice growth and bright coloring. MY colors are very bright. I have not seen any color loss since I have added them to the tank. To be honest, I have been watching them actually get brighter. I was a little hesitant on buying these but so far I am very happy. I am not sure what will happen in the months to come but as of now they seem to be doing a great job.
