i got one of custom king's frag tanks a little while back and had originally planned on using my 5.5g pico as the display fuge, but with the petco sale going on decided to splurge the 10 whole dollars for a 10g. I'd like to have some live rock, sand, and macro algae in the fuge. I already have a bunch of ceriths and a few nassarius snails in the pico I am going to transfer over. I've been reading that anything less than a 6" sandbed is counter-productive, but I'd like a sandbed and doubt it can be 6"! Is this a lost cause?
Also I picked up one of these Marineland LED fixtures on ebay, but not sure if it's enough lighting for the fuge?
