hermits and snails with fish eggs?

It has been awhile since I had breeding clowns, so I have forgotten.

Has anyone had any issue with hermits or snails going after fish eggs?

I am assuming even if they do the parents would defend them. But just wondering if anyone has had anything that has a taste for fish eggs.

I am looking to aquire some banggai cardinals in the near future, in hopes of them breeding. (I am waiting to see if I am moving or not).

No problems here, but parents are quite defensive and will shoo anything away within the vicinity of the clutch. Oddly, they don't mind the Mandarin poking around though.

Please correct if I'm wrong, but aren't Bangaii Cardinals mouth-brooders? Would the concern still stand?

Yes, they do after he fertilizes them. I am also considering a pair of clowns. Not sure yet tho.

Great! Best of luck... I'm still struggling with my Cinnamons, but have 8 surviving fry. Will get there, eventually.
