I have a major Majano anemone problem in my reef tank, and my local fish shop told me that they have use a juvenile (2-3 inches) Asfur angel in their reef tank to eat these pest anemones.
Has anyone had experience with the Asfur, either as a predator of Majanos or as a reef tank inhabitant?
Is it generally reef safe? - I have heard conflicting accounts.
Also, will it coexist with my Regal Angel in a 180 gal reef tank? Other fish are: kole tank, yellow tang, 4 small yellow-tail damsels, yellow watchman goby, pair of ocellaris (living in an H. Magnifica), flame angel, purple pseudochromis, and a small school of squampinnis anthias (1 male; 8 females).
Thanks!
Simon
