:D Hi all I have a 60 gal stocked with neons,tetras,ect. also have alot of live plants,and a Co2 system....does anyone know what I should be testing for regularly? I am adding iron and phosforus for the plants....It would be appriciated. Thanks

if it's a well established tank, and you are maintaining it well, and don't have any algae issues, fish are healthy, you may not find it necessary to test at all- it's partly a matter of your experience level

i rarely test for anything in fw tanks i setup, i use experience and me eyeballs to let me know what's going on, with the exception of iron, if dosing for plants

having said that- the 'official' recommendation stands to test for all the usual suspects-nitrogen compounds (from ammonia to nitrate), pH, phosphate, and hardness

8) Thanks- We have a 6 gal nano-reef too and I am the scientist on duty- Just want to buy the right test kits- Have the master freshwater kit - but have alot of plants and Co2 system in place, had goldfish that got to big -got rid of them and decieded to go with live plants and schools of small fish ...

Nothing. Things seem fine.

I also think you don't need to add all that stuff for the plants. But that's just the way I run my systems.
