How do you carry a big rimless tank?

How do you guys actually carry a big rimless tank into your house/apt? I'm referring to 150 gallon tank, 48x30x24. Would i need the glass suction cup or that's really not necessary? thanks guys!!! :goldfish:

I'd say 4-5 people. When I moved my 48x30x20 we did it with three guys. Down 3 stories and back up to the second floor to m house. It was heavy as ****. Oh suction cups should help allot.

Suction cup will be a gud investment if you plan on movin tanks on a regular but if it's a one time thing just get a few buddies with some beers and you all set

drop it on the floor, then sweep the glass into buckets and have a few freinds help.

Thanks all!!! It would only be 5 steps up and 8-10 steps down the basement. If the glass handler is not necessary I hunk I'll forgo it and spent those money on corals , since I probably won't be moving the tank again any time soon. Yes beer and pizza .

But kind of concern moving the tank down the basement as the stair is kind of narrow, the good thing is there is no railing.

The cheap neoprene dipped gloves are a handy item when moving a tank. The coating acts like a non slip surface.

The glass suction cups will be extremely handy IMO, especially when you mention the narrow stairs, you probably won't be able to put your hands on the sides for an easier grip. Also, since its a narrow stairs, it'll probably be tilted on its side, which leaves even less room for 2 people on the bottom, again where the glass suction cups come in handy

My primary problem is the stair and this don't work well carrying on stair.
