I always used Redsea Coral pro and its a really great salt. KH, Mag, Cal always stayed consistent. I didn't have to dose that much while using it. Only issue I had with Redsea was sometimes the water wouldn't clear up when I would mix for my water change even after sitting for 24 hours. I decided to try Tropic Marin Pro and bought the 200 gallon bucket. I am at the end of the bucket and just ordered Redsea Coral Pro again. Tropic Marin caused algae blooms in my tank and my kh,mag, Cal had big swings I.e dropped low after doing water changes. I also noticed a decline in my corals. In my experience I will stick with Redsea. I also looked up tropic Marin and saw several reports about algae bloom issues. I would highly recommend Redsea Coral pro had nothing but great results when I was using it. Can't wait for ups to deliver my new bucket.

Im using Red Sea Coral Pro on a nano with some LPS/SPS frags, and weekly i see considerable growth tips on my SPS frags and i dont dose or have any reactors. I simply do religious 5 gallon water changes weekly to get those Ca,Mg,St levels back up that Red Sea is great at supplementing. As far as price goes, its close. But Red Sea coral pro +1

200g TMP is 69.99

175g red sea is 69.99

Are you talking about the bio active TMP? I wasn't aware of online pricing. I used to get it from the LFS and they charged $130. Aside from that I remember alk was very low. I searched for a new salt and the Red Sea looked good. I buy it online now because my LFS doesn't carry it.

I have recently switched to reef crystals. I have seen a few healthy looking tanks using it and it is only $35 at the LFS. I was getting excessive brown algae growing on the front panel and since the switch it has diminished dramatically. And corals look the same.

The regular tropic marine pro salt 200g is $70. not the bio active. Iv used TMP for about a yr now with no real problem (ive only experienced the PH down @ 8 ). Now i filled up a new 85g system with nothing but TMP and its giving me a PH of 7.8 and a Kdh of 7. So im going to switch to red sea to check out the results
