Lyretail Anthias

Question --can i keep a trio of these in a 300 gallon with large angelfish as tankmates. Also would i be able to keep multiple anthias species in this tank with the angels.i know a bunch of you guys keep anthias so let me know what you think

Yes to keeping them with angels, not sure about mixing anthias

Before Sandy I had trios of Bartletts, Lyretails and Resplendents no issues with any of them, tank was a 380 so not much bigger.

I currently have Lyretails, Bartletts, Dispars, and Carberryi in my 325g. About 25 in all. They get along great. This has been over several years now. They also reside with large tangs and Bellus Angels.

you'll have no problems in a tank that size...I have a trio of them along with 6-7 other species of anthias with a Regal and a PBT in only a 170 with no problems...IMO Lyretails are one of the most easiest anthias to keep.
