Starfish? Appeared out of nowhere

This thing appeared out of nowhere and is growing slightly, any ideas what it is?

Astraea starfish common hitchhiker on coral & liverock they do eat coralline algae, and I've heard the red ones eat Zoas.. They will multiply... I had hundreds in my tank got a pair of Harley's and they cleared my tank in a few weeks..

Do they get any bigger and are they bad?

I have them in my tank as well. Everytime i see them i take it out just to be safe
