and why(if you care to share)?

I disliked my 90gal back in the day, had a black background :( And my acrylic tank that has a black back, reminds me of that.

Never again. I've had royal blue/indigo color, but find it too dark personally, although looks grrreat with dark purple corallines and creates the deepest effect.

Although, what I like best, is using a TEAL paint best. It looks aquamarine/greenish in day & warm light but under actinics & 14/20K it emits the nicest shades of what I'd describe as a 'white neon blue' color.

What about you guys? Anyone paint their back red, yellow, orange, white, pink??

i like aqua blue, but i think I'm gonna go with black on the new tank, i think with blue the over flows and tunzes will stick out. like mike said it will be covered in coralline soon.
