I've always used sumps and canister however I really don't want to get in all of that filtration right now since it's a small aquarium. Bioload will be kept small however Im still stuck on which aqua clear to get. I will just be keeping the foams in the filter simply because I will be adding a diy moving bed filter with in the tank.
So basically do you think a 70 gallon aqua clear primarily used as mechanical filtration be enough? I would rather go with the 70 because the next tank that will use this filter will be a smaller tank used as a quarantine filter.
Also it will primarily be a Fish Only and a layer of sand.
