Need some help plumbing return

Ok guys so here is my dilemma, I am running a 120 tank w/ a 30gal sump. I got a sweet deal on the Diablo DC 3500 , pump.works fine only issue is the previous owner glued some 1inch PVC to the outlet and it. Can't be removed. Space in cabinet is very tight so I was.going to use tubing for the return. With the 1 inch PVC glued to the pump, I. Ant remove it and use the barbed adapter that came with the pump for hose use. Is there tubing available that I can slide right over the 1 inch PVC? Or does anybody have another idea for me.

yes, i used i think 1 1/4 to reduce vibration from pump to return. i had to heat it to make it pliable, then wet it and slide it on. it goes on tight but i used clamps anyway.

1inch pvc female adapter, 1in barb fitting and whatever tubing you plan on using... That's what I would do. Correct me if I misunderstood

For the recorder I wouldn't slide anything on the pvc unless you feel like heating some rubber flex tubing into the pvc . Just my 2 cents
