Cloudy water

Why is my tank so cloudy looking? I did a water change over a week ago. All my levels are finally on point. Not running carbon at this time. Want to start but still researching carbon. Some suggest regular carbon others recommended rox carbon. Is there anything I could do to clear my tank up? I hate this look

Filter socks and carbon. Nothing to research, rox is awesome. It's not same as carbon dosing. It's just a filter media. No bad affects, it's the goto to remove any and stuff. Cloudy is usually a bacteria bloom. What have you been adding to the tank?

I am using filter socks. I will price the rox carbon and order. I've added nothing to the tank. 3 days ago I added bio-optim. Stop the bio-digest cause of the cyano. Still seeing some cyano. Phosphates were checked by API and were undetectable. Checked also by Hanna checker which read 0.03. This could be false readings cause of the bio-optim cause my nitrate also read 0. I also moved my powerhead and increased the water flow to my tank from the sump

Hold off on the prodibio too. Let things settle. It sounds like a bacteria bloom

Ok. So just run my carbon, do water changes, amd rowaphos? Will adding macro algae and pods and critters to my fuge help or hurt things at far as the bacteria?

One thing at a time. I would not add any new macro, pods, or what not till things improve.

rox is good carbon and really not that much more than the cheap stuff cause you only use half the amount with rox.
