Help Me feed My lion Fish

what is the best way to get my 3 spot lion to eat it is about 4 in long:splitspin

live food, silversides, krill, squid etc.

they can go long periods w/o food. Eventually they will eat. Theres no way to force them to eat.

guppies, shrimp.

i've never had a fish not eat, normally after a week they'll notice the food and see other fish eating it.

try silversides, they work wonders

guppies may swim 2 fast. try small goldfishes

Correct me if I'am wrong all the live food is fresh water, ghost shrimp guppies minnos ect wont they die in salt water???? what do i do put them in if the fish dont get it then take it out when it is dead! and start over!...

FW fish are not the best dietary choice for saltwater fish they may eat but they might not get the nutrition they need from the goldfish, guppies or shrimp.

FYI, Mollies and guppies prefer brackish water and can survive in a saltwater environment if acclimated slowly and properly.

What is the best way and for how long should I acclimate the fish for?

drip them for an hr so so.

But like i've asked before, have you tried silversides?

Live food is only used to get them to eat, once they accept it, u switch to frozen so they get the proper diet needs

the only thing it has eaten is a pepermint shrimp that I forgot was in the tank it scared it out and dinner served.. is that a sure sign it will eat now and what do i do with the silver sides just drop them in?

defrost a few silversides and drop them in. You might have to put it on a stick and wave it around if it doesnt go after it right away.
