Power Head Setup

I have 2 power heads in my tank should they be on at the same time or should they alternate or should they be on all at night or in the day. I guess what I'am asking what is the bet way to keep water moveing!

Which powerheads? What size tank? What are the flow requirements of the livestock in the tank?

i would have to say 24/7.

some powerheads can be plugged into a wavemaking device but in order for us to help you we need a bit more info.
