I have a lot of dreaded blue clove polyps not looking to eliminate them with fluke tabs but would like to kill back a bunch of them I've been using aptasia x with ok success but was wondering if there's something else I can use diy for free??
Would a Manjano wand work?

Thanks
Matt

I don't recommend kalk in small tanks because it can boost the alk and PH, but in larger tanks it's not noticeable when used in small areas at a time. Just mix it with water until it looks like toothpaste and paste it over a small area. The polyps are smaller than aiptasia, manjos so it's harder to shoot juice etc... Into the their mouths.

I used it in my tank to kill Greenstar polyps that were climbing my SPS. They were all over my rock and spots I couldn't reach.

It definitely put a beating on the colors.
Any SPS that already had GSP on it ended up dying.
Birdsnest took the biggest hit.
It took a couple months for the tank to recover its color.

I wouldn't think twice about using it again.

I went with adding butterflies to chow down on everything. Wasn't very effective, if the softies grow faster than they can eat. Hmm, my post therefore has no bearing on this.
Well, if you were to add a dozen butterflies... somehow... nah. Mine just competed with each other till there were only 2 left.
