Coral banded shrimp / cleaner shrimp

Can I place a Coral Banded Shrimp in my tank with 4 other Cleaner Shrimps? They will be in a 265 gallon tank. Will there be any problems? Is a 265 big enough?

I've had both along with Fire Shrimp back when I had a 72 bow front. As you probably know, Coral Banded Shrimps are "ill humored" and are grumpy SOB's and they walk with a chip on their shoulder 24/7. But it seemed the other shrimps already knew that and whenever the CBS was approaching, they pretty much moved out of it's way. But because of this, some skipped getting one. As far as I was able to see, none of the other shrimps were harmed by the CBS.

i have one, in my sump now cause he ate a pair of baby picassos.
and had problem getting him out, so think about it.

Ok thanks, I will keep him in my sump. I recently purchased a pair of FROSTBITES and it will break my heart if he attacked them. Helpfully he will keep it clean lOl

I have CBS in a 125 gallon tank with 2 cleaner shrimp. I kind of regret putting the CBS in the tank. He keeps to himself during the day but at night I have seen him stalking the cleaner shrimp around the tank. Luckily the cleaners are a lot faster but It sucks that they cannot be left in peace.

I also notice that the CBS will swipe at passing fish. The LFS told me that this is simply a defense mechanism and the CBS is just defending his immediate space. I lost green clown goby a few months back that I suspect the CBS had something to do with but obviously I can't prove it.

Yep, He is definitely staying in my sump. I will feed him good but he's staying in the sump.

I think main thing is to feed your tank well daily.
