not that brand but i used that product.
Very effective and very inexpensive but...
For me preference a pain as far as maintenance is concerned.
Must use low count micron sock to minimize particle irritation to fish and other creatures. This equates to clogged filter socks very frequently, daily.
The skimmer will skim the rest but...
The skimmer cup will end up with a build up that does not wipe off as typical skim material, literally a build up that you will need to use a mildly abrasive sponge and some elbow grease to remove the build up.
Other than that, it works amazingly, if not careful, way too amazingly. Not sure if the brand you are referencing is a water down version of the chemical itselt. I purchased the chemical itself for $25 and used only 20ml's, still have most of it.
When I was reading up on it, read that some retailers are watering it down significantly, labeling it for aquarium use which means if you stick with it the water down product you are guaranteed to spend significant more than if you buy the chem itself and learn how to dissolve it and dose it on your own.
It literally takes a few ML's to make a liter of dosing solution and that's if phos is high, if its low and simply looking for inexpensive maintenance then you are talking about an ml a month or less and less frequent sock clogging.
