2x3 for 40g Breeder stand

Is this going to be ok? Or should I use 2x4 for everyting? Thanks.

2x3 is fine............it will all come down to how much skill and tools you have on building furniture....i used treated patio wood to make my cabinet for a 50g breeder....i just cut it to size....but i made slots in the wood to join them together and wood glue works well plus all the screws and stuff

Before all the all the overbuilders start commenting...

2x3s are fine. Like auto said it really depends on what kind of wood working skills you have. I built the stand for my 92 using 2x3s.
