Clam vs FGM

I have a tiny Maxima Clam that decide to go for a walk 2 days ago. I found it this morning partially under one of my Fuzzy Green Mushrooms. I'm pretty sure the clam made it's new home during the night while the shroom was closed up for the evening. Now that the shroom is open it is covering about 1/5 of the clams mantle. Seeing as I can't move the mushroom I thought i would move the clam to an area close by, but far enough from the shroom. I can't do so because the clam has already secured itself and I don't want to damage it. The mantle is closed up where the shroom is covering it. Should I be worried about this? If the shroom is causing damage to the clam, will the clam move on it's own?

I would move it and try and put it in conditions it is in near that shroom.

Won't I damage it by prying off the rock if it is already attached? It's tucked into a cubby hole, so I can't cut the filaments.

Oh, that little bugger attached? Use a powerhead to get it off or cut the shroom. Clams don't do well in the competition for light.

Not that I have much luck with clams, but you are better off cutting away the shroom.

I just sliced the shroom in 1/2. So if like the last time it split, the halves will move away from each other and give the clam some breathing room. Thanks for the help guys.
