best skimmer

i am looking for the best skimmer around $300.00 for my 72bow

Go with a downdraft skimmer. I use a Reef Devil ETS on an 80 gal reef. I purchased it for $200. They have other more expensive models available. But, the highest quality skimmers feature a downdraft design.

Deltec are the best, im saving for an AP703. But Aquamedic are cheaper but still kick some foam. Dont bother with any of those converted shower head efforts. HSA i think tere called.

There are a lot of good brands out there is all I'll say, but stay away from the larger companies, their products are inferior for what you pay for.

I would like to hear what is said on this subject as I will be loking for a new one too...I was thinking of the red sea berlin turbo or the super reef devil...better of the two? for price?It is for 55 gal,20 gal sump...
