This morning I saw a teeny sea slug (I think) laying eggs right above the water line. The slug was beige with brown feather-type markings and a large red end which I think was an ovipositor. When it finished laying the eggs, the red thing shrank significantly. The eggs look like miniature pieces of rice. I tried to get pics, but the sea slug is like 1/8 of an inch and the pics just didn't work. So my questions are, was it a sea slug and should I let the eggs hatch? I've got a two gallon reef and the only large animal is a crab. I've seen differing opinions on sea slugs. What's your opinion? Thanks.
