I have a 37 gallon with a 55W PC and a 20W NO lighting. Bakpak skimmer, 2 maxijet 900 powerheads. 45lbs LR 4 inch sandbed, Pair percs, firefish, royal gramma. snails, Scarlet red hermits, 1 Sally lightfoot, 1 Emerald crab.

I'd like to add some corals. I have a rock with about 18 Green Ricordea polyps near the top of the tank. Appears to be doing well. Would like to add some more (colorful??) Suggestions??

Also, how would a couple of gorgonians work in this setup??

I would recommend a Finger Leather and/or Star Polyps. As for the Gorgonian, as long as it is photosynthetic you should be o.k. Good luck!

I would have to go with Ben on this one. Star polyps seem like they are impossible to kill. Button polyps are also hardy and don't require intense light. Most leathers are hardy as well. Mushrooms are extremely hardy and don't need very much light either. I have a ton of mushrooms in my 7 gallon nano and I love 'em. They look like a flower garden when they get all extended. If you have room there's always the tube anenome which are nocturnal and really look cool at night. The only draw back is that they will catch and kill small fish. They will also sting any corals that are too close to them, but they are really beautiful.
