Very sad night for me....

and the wife. Our two year old six line wrasse jumped through the 3 inch opening in the eggcrate. The eggcrate was put on the tank for that specific reason . The other sad part is that she jumped right into a bucket that we use to store make up water, but was empty at the time.

It is tough losing a pet.

my ray had two pups. I lost the first one within a week. The second one hung on for four weeks and made me very hopeful. She died yesterday.

eddi I am sorry about your pups. I read your posts when you where updating us. It must be especially hard for you because I know you did everything to help them. I just wonder why she jumped? Nothing has changed in the tank. I just did water tests last night and everything was fine. This sucks.

yes, this sucks but hang in there. The joys of this hobby greatly outweigh the sad times.
