My purple tipped sebae (h. malu) tentacles was sucked into the maxijet. Luckily, there is a small screen to stop the whole body being sucked in. I removed the screen and freed the sebae from the powerhead.
Here is the problem. The anemone is doing fine now, all opened up. The filter screen is still attached to its body, It's all tangled with the anemone. The tangled part of the anemone is about 1/8 of the total anemone size. The anemone mouth is unaffected. What should I do with the screen? Should I leave it and let the anemone be? Or should I try to cut it up in pieces? Will the anemone eventually free its tentacles from the filter screen?
I am afraid if I try to remove the screen now, it will cause more injury to the anemone.
