S sharkdude Advanced Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 Mar 19, 2002 #2 check out Reefin' Madness III album at my signature url. or at http://community.webshots.com/album/33136501mIlczf I have 120 gal and a 15 gal display tanks plumbed together through a common refugium and sump. have plenty of excess capacity in sump and siphon breaks (or check valve) in event of powerfailure. be sure and screen and oversize all drains. you can split one main pump or have two pumps in sump supplying two separate tanks. do not rely on trying to balance two different pumps. My first system also consisted of multiple tanks plumbed through a common sump. send me an email if you want more advice or have questions.
