I was just wondering if anyone knows any good fish stores to visit in both the Twin Cities area and the Mankato area. Im going to be up there this weekend and would like to check a couple of them out.
i live up in the area of the twin cities there are 3 stores by me a world of fish in richfield right by the airport, another called something fishy about 2 blocks down the street and one in maplewood called underwater caverns they all have their own website so you can check out the stuff for directions and such
hey, mike make sure you bring me something back!! lol, if you want you are sure welcome to find me some cool shrooms (1-3), or some ricordia (couple polyps), or if you see some blue, purple, or pink zooanthids make sure you give me a call!!! you can subtract it from what you owe me!!
give me a call if you see anything above that i might be interested in please
I lived in Mankato for 4 years. Pet Expo has saltwater, not great- but the only thing Mankato has. They do have a pretty nice reef setup, i think its around 500gal. Prices are sometimes expensive, and the livestock is hit or miss on the quality. I have bought a pair of percula clowns, and 2 cleaner shrimp from them. All are living over a year, and healthy.
Thanks for all the replies, which do you guys think is the best one in/around the Twin Cities, I dont think I'll have time to visit all that were posted but Id sure like to get to the good ones.
Thanks!
Mike
Amazing Fish is a new store that recently opened up in St. Louis Park. I also like Something Fishy and Lyndale Tropics, these are the stores I usually buy from. A World of Fish is really cool, but a bit more pricy.
