San Antonio Reefers

My favorite fish store was Aquarium Sales and Service. I went there Saturday after Thanksgiving to see that they were closed. Does anyone know what happened to them? Ken, one of the owners, was a great guy there. I had been going there for 9 years.

They just went out of business because too many reefer wanted cheap fishes/corals instead of good fishes/corals.

Aquarium Sales & Services was a favorite store of mine too & I was sad to hear that they had closed. From what I had heard their overhead was too high to keep the retail store open, but they still do maintenace on aquariums so they aren't totally out of business.

Thanks for the replies. I hope there maintenance business does well--those tanks should look great. They truely cared about the aquarium world.
