Well I finally got my tank up and running on monday. I have a 90 AGA with a 1.5in bulkhead, 1in sea swirl, OR3500 and 200 LBS of pure aragonite DSB. Also you will notice a tiny piece of LR probably under a pound...HAHA. Im still waiting for my shipment of LR from liveaquaria. Anyways, just wanted to here any opinions on the DSB. Im planning on haveing my aquascape be divided in two. One huge pile of LR on the left and one on the right. Then there will be a slanted gap between the two piles in the middle. Sound Good? You guys think there is too much sand in there? its about 3.5in in the center where it dips and about 5.5in on the sides. thanks for looking!

man, putting those rocks under the sand is going to make the sand level even higher!!!
Do you guys think ill need more water movement in there, or does that look like it will be enough? I plan on keeping Softies and probably some type of host anemone.

What is the GPH rating of the pumps?
To build shelves many people use a combination of a few things, tie wraps for smaller rocks, acrylic rods to hold larger rocks together (use a power drill to drill holes into the rock), pvc pipe, and underwater epoxy. I would only use epoxy as a last resort as it isn’t very tuff.

Bigo: I know, I just have them sitting there and out of the way temporarily while there is nothing in there and the lights arent on. I just wanted them out of the way while i was messing around with setting the tank up.

ok, thats what i was thinking. Maybe even an aquaclear 802.
Anyways, back to the LR. Why is now that i have to burry it all the way to the glass? Cant i just submerge it enough to make sure it wont slide or move? I really dont want to mess with drilling my rock and running PVS through it to hold it in place. All im going to be doing as far as aquascaping is having two piles of rock. If I make sure that its stable, i would hope i dont have to mess with PVC.
