Got a False Percula a few days ago, seems to have been doing just fine. I come home now, after being out of town, all the lights were out. He is staying in the corner of the tank, about 1/2 way down from the top, where the current is fairley strong. He is swimming against the current, straight up and down. Does not seem to be struggleing ( not breathing hard anyway) , But just doesn't seem right to me. I tried turning off the powerhead for that end of the tank, he just moved over to the other end, where the current was strong. Is this normal behavior?

Normal? Clowns ?

Sorry, I'm still laughing because I've been trying to catch some, and someone suggested I take out all the water and pick them up off the bottom.....

If no one is harrassing him, he's likely fine. Ocellaris don't always host easily (like with a powerhead, mushroom, or a rock, or even an anemone...) in captivity. Give him some time to settle in I think.

Thanks for the quick reply, Emily! Have had FW aquariums for years, this is my first attempt at SW. I do as much research as I can before I buy anything, but this kind of stuff you just don't find in books. He seems more relaxed now, just hanging around a powerhead. Maybe he'll adopt it :D !
