i threw on air pump onto the eductor/ventrui and its like super charged now...any dangers or things i need to watch for? it produces so much more foam now..its great. the tube looks a great deal more turbulent, more bubbles, and seems like im getting more flow through it.

but yeah is there anything i should know? im ganna watch it for an hour or so and see what happens...thanks for the help

Leave the air pump on , it is working better. Just tune the skimmer so that you don`t get tooo much wet foam .. 8)

hi, when I tried to "help" my venturi by pumping air into it, it only made the bubbles larger. Large bubbles are not good skimmers.

Have your bubble size changed :?:

You may try one of the trick the CPR BakPak user do, but rather it works depends on the accessibility to the reaction chamber.

Put an air stone near the venturi output, this way, the bubble size won't be affect by the air pump, but you get a lot more bubbles.

actaully..bubble sizee is not effected at all...on the kent, the venturi is before the pump so they all get chopped anyway.

the only thing that is really a problem is..(if u know the kent, you know that the output tube height controls the the flow in the skimmer) with the tube all the way down, i still get lots a foam, but its all wet and threatens to overflow my skimmer. i guess i can get some kind of valve to tone it down.

well see how it goes. thanks for the help
