I'd like a community reef tank,a few fish,mostly coral;lps,sps
shrooms and leathers from my 58 and 75.
The 58 has miraclemud in a sump,2+yrs w/miracle mud.
The 75 has an emperor 400 biowheel on tank of 100+lbs of prem. LR
Both tanks are bare bottoms.I've seen terrible things happen in
sand beds and read many mixed reviews on most filtration, but I'd like the healthiest tank I can for many years.I read Goemans,Sprung and Fenner
but I'm not them I'm just a dingdong who loves to propogate corals and watch the fauna and flora do the dance of life......
Can I convert this bioball tub into a usable sump?
The last reservoir is narrow! I'd hate to run my Iwaki 40xrlt dry!
And what would you put in it besides my Berlin skimmer,LR and salt water???????????
thanks,mike

sorry, when I posted my rudimentary sumpdrawing
it scattered the lines and chambers all askew.
The main return chamber is 16x16(bioball tub),
the other 1/2 is 4 narrow chambers.
Can I put this to any good use?
mike
