where is everybody getting there stuff from now that FFexpress is done? and how is fishsupply.com ?

If you are talking fish you only want to get them from a cyanide free supplier like www.seacrop.com or a MAC certified supplier.

Most tangs, butterflys, angels and triggers come from the Philippines and Indonesia where the use of cyanide is rampant.

Why recommend something they have a 1% chance of finding?

I'd recommend a reputable LFS who can identify what region their fish came from. A good LFS with a good supplier will know these things. For instance, I usually write on each tank where the fish I order comes from. Red Sea, Sri Lanka, ORA, etc. If I don't know, I clue the customer in on the risk they're taking...

Peace,

Frank - What kind of livestock are you looking for? Fish? Corals? Clean up Critters?

As naesco said one of the best for Fish (they have other stuff too) is Seacrop. Many places will claim net caught/cyanide free but it's almost impossible to be sure. Also www.themarinecenter.com has a sterling reputation and seem to have some very very healthy fish but expect to pay a little more - I feel it is worth it as I like to keep fish for the long term and watch them grow up!

I have ordered from the following places and been very happy:

www.liveaquaria.com (decent for as big as they are - wide selection)
www.coraldynamics.com (ecologically responsible coral farmer)
www.reeftopia.com (best place for cleanup critters IMO)
www.premiumaquatics.com (usually order dry goods but they have nice livestock too)
www.thelogicalreef.com (amazing zoos and some frags)

Several of the above are reefs.org sponsors an

i`m looking for a little of each (or alot). i just moved my 125g reef into a 375g. i put a few things from ipsf, doubled up on their snail package. i`m looking to throw some button poylips in there for the mean time. i have about half the corals in there that i want right now. i`d like to throw about 20 small-medium fish in there soon. so first step is more clean-up crews and fish.
