My Fuzzy Dwarf Lion

SO I did my research and ended up getting a fuzzy dwarf. He/she is so beutiful, but I want to know how to make him swim around during the day. I know that they are night hunters, but I have read that you can feed them during the day (get a schedual going) and this will change their habits. Is there any harm in this?
Also what is the best way to feed them? The pet store has been feeding it live guppies but he needs more nutrition so I have found some suppliments. However, I do I make the food look alive? I want him to come to the surface to eat that would make it easier but I need to train him (train is an overstatement, lol).
Any of you have experience.

You can fool him off live food, just agitate the food to make it look alive and eventually you can get him on a more healthy diet. Live freshwater feederfish will eventualy take a toll on his liver....

Yeah mine is nice and healthy. I just fed ghost shrimp to him for about a month in a small net. Then I gradually over the period of a month started to add in frozen mysis to the net and reduce the amount of live ghost shrimp. After a month he was taking cubes of mysis right outta the net. Now he'll eat anything I throw in there. (brine cubes, mysis, etc...)

What do you mean by feeding him from a net?
I have seen big lion fish eat like pigs so how do I get mine to come to the top of the tank to eat.
I have patients, I just want to make sure I am doing it right.

i just feed my lion with my hand every saturday. Give him some large gulf shrimp. I've gotton to where he will "jump" like halfway out of the tank. It's pretty silly.

Naw hes cool. His spines are usually never set in an aggressive/defensive driving. They uusally just flap in the current so its pretty easy to avoid them.

My Fuzzy Dwarf would always stay hidden when well fed...but he'd be highly active all day if I took a day off feeding.

He still will not eat and I am kid of nervious. I got some guppies but he does not take them; but maybe I am doing it wrong. I am having trouble getting the food to ge near him and then die pretty quick when I stick them in the salt water. I am going to try and get some type of Tweezers on my way home today and see if that works.

Get a feeding prong like for eels. Their thin and plastic with an angled pointed end so you stick some food on it and wave it in front of his face. I have mine eating everything from frozen and freeze dried krill, mysis and lance fish.

He didn't est last night and I tried your ideas and als added some garlic to the food; nothing. He is real active at night though so it think I am just going to let him be for a few days before I stress him out to much.

When my Lion wouldn't eat for a while, I eventually just had to give me feeder guppies for a while just so he didn't starve. Last ditch effort though. As someone already stated it is not a good idea.
