Ok, I need a strong (atleast 700GPH) water pump that can be run externally to pump water during my water changes...
I also need to aquire such an item on the cheap... :(

I know, its a lot to ask, but could anyone direct me to an etailer or similar establishment? I cant spend over $35, especially with shipping... :(

Thanks in advance...

Just water changes... I need something to take the water from the bucket to the tank....

Also, does anyone know of any problems perchance involved in mixing natural sea-water with synthetically mixed water in the same tank? I bought one of those "Real Ocean" 5 gallonjugs/boxes of NSW at my LFS to do the water change, but the thought never occured to me at the time that there may be an incompatibility in chemistry here.... Fatal Morgana, any take on that notion?

I need this pump fast, too, as Ive' an over-due water change resting on the heels of this developement...

Just test the natural and the synthetic seawater for the basics(PH, Alk, salinity, and temp). As long as they are the same, mixing should not be a problem.

I use a Maxi-Jet 1200 to pump water from a garbage can up to my sump. I wouldn't say it's super fast, but it works reasonably well even with 4 feet of head pressure.

Yeah, see, Im fairly sure theres about 3-4 feet of "head pressure", as it's been put here, so I kinda wanted something that wouldnt buckle under the load...
Ive looked, but could not find, the GPH rating of the previous power head unit that performed this function--quite weakely at that, now that I think about it--but I know that its an Aqua Clear 403... Might anyone know there GPH rating of this unit off the top's of their head's? I looked last night, but I gave up in favor of lost sleep...

Oh, Im sure there are differences between the two types of water there ANEMONEBUFF, but Ive had differences between two batches of synthetic water and its never made a difference...? I know the temp will be the same if not really close because Im using my little 50watt heater to heat the water just before... Ph I will buffer accordingly, same with alk, but Im not sure how I could lower either value...? Salinity will be the toughest to equalize, as I keep my tank at a relatively low salinity (1.022-24), and the NSW tests out to about 1.028 on my swing-arm hydrometer... Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies guys. :)
