Hey everybody. I'm new on this forum and wanted to share my tank shot.

My tank has been up for about 3 months, 105 gallon using a Ecosystem Refugium. Lights are MH 175W plus VHO actinic. Pumps are Iwaki 70's. Installed in the basement that run the main system and the closed loop. Closed Loop direction value is from Oceansmotions.

Here is a shot of the Refugium:

I really like the "picture" effect that framing gives, very nice tank!

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome and the kind words on my tank. Its my first Reef system. I did salt for alot of years, got out of the hobby for awhile and got bit with the salt bug about 3 years ago. Well it had to be a reef. Had to re learn all the new stuff. Places like this help tremendously.

On the flow rate, I really dont know. I've got a Iwaki 70 running in the basement that is about 1/4 tuned back (ball value on the return) The pumps are about 3 feet below the tank and about 10 feet away. Running 1 inch pcv on the whole piping. The overflow is a Durso style 1 1/2 inch into the Refugium.

Hi btang, I just love your wall unit it looks fabulous. What sort of timber is it? Your tank will look realy wonderful when you have fish in there to give you that movement. :D

nice setup.

I can almost see marlin and dori swimming to the top. Hopefully they won't hit the jellies.
