My Granddaughters raise Sea Monkey's as a hobby. From what I've read about them, they are a large hybrid of brine shrimp. My question is has anyone had any experience of feeding them to their reef fish ? Are they reef and fish-coral safe source of food ?

Sea monkey is a trade name for a breed of brine shrimp, not a hybrid. They can be used just like any other brine shrimps, e.g, fortified, etc., since it is relative poor in nutrient esp. when they grow and molted a few times..

Feeding fish brine shrimp is like the health food "puffed rice cakes" for humans. Offers really nothing.

Krill, mysis, ocean plankton, are a higher choice for nutrition.
