i can only think of the hippo blue tang but i dont want another tang since i have a purple and sailfin already. are there any other bright blue fish that is reef safe and wont fight with my tangs?

Some more info about your tank and what's in it would probably be useful.

C. cyanea would be even more blue. You can find them pretty big too, like 4 or 5 inches long.

Saw some of these guys the other day too. Gorgeous fish. Hypoplectrus gemma, blue or indigo hamlet. They'd probably eat shrimp though.

They'll get smaller fish, too. I wouldn't keep one with anything that's less then half or three quarters it's size.

Hamlets are long-time favorites of mine. Great fish.

my tank is 100 gallons, running for over 2 years now. i have two tangs, a orchid dottyback, a pair of wheeler gobies, one flame angel and a lot of corals and inverts.

if introduced last, and you don't have lionfish :P - should be fine :D
